BELLA, Got her when she was about 5 years old Nov 2004 Had lost my dog Danndy 3weeks before, i,d cry each time we went to an other animal pond looking for a new dog, but Bella came to me from Marlow house where i did some voluntary work, Bella was brought to my house we just fell in love ,My son was so proud of her he walked her at ten that first evening .So loving and caring loved to kiss children i,d say don,t let her lick your face but the kids love her , and the big kids did too. I could walk her for hours she was so good and every night after washing up she would know its walks time was the only time you would hear her bark, or if i stopped to chat to some one on her walks time ,lol .I only heard her once howl like a wolf that was exactly six months ago to the day , was five in the morning , that was the day they brought my sons body back home in June . The frist time that i taken Bella to my sons grav she new the way and pulld me all the way to the side of his grav, but the last time we was thier she was difrent, she did,t stay by me but ran off and barkd , not like her at all! Bella came though an op only last week to remove a lump, she was that well the vet phoned me and askd me to pick her up early , only to be killd by a car , just like Micky was ,I LOVE YOU I,m happy your together miss you so much ,

When the Time Comes
John Quealy
Lord, when the time comes please help me be strong
My furry friend is sick; something's terribly wrong
The vet checked her over; there's nothing he can do
I'm afraid soon I'll be sending her; home to You
Please take her back home; on the wings of a dove
Into Your loving arms; up in heaven above
Take her to a meadow; where she can play and run free
Under bright sunlight; among the green grass and trees
She's been a part of my life now; for so many years
I'll miss her so much; my eyes are filling with tears
Please give me the courage; to tell her good-bye
As I know She'll watch over me; through her loving eyes
I'll never forget her; I'll see her one day
Tell her we'll meet at the Bridge; then we'll go play
I'll cherish the memories; of the time we both had
they'll put a smile on my face; then I won't feel as bad
Precious Love
The agony is so great...
and yet I will stand it.
Had I not loved so very much...
I would not hurt so much.
But God knows I would not want to diminish
that precious love...
By one fraction of an ounce.
I will hurt...
And I will be grateful for that hurt
For it bears witness to the depth of my love.
And for that I will be eternally grateful.

~ A Little Dog Angel~
High up in the courts of Heaven today
A little dog-angel waits,
With the other dogs he will not play,
But he sits alone at the Gates:
"For I know my master will come," says he
"And when he comes, he will call for me."
He sees the spirits that pass him by
As they hasten towards the throne,
And he watches them with a wistful eye
As he sits at the gate alone;
"But I know if I just wait patiently
"That someday my Master will come," says he.
And his Master far down on the earth below,
As he sits in his easy chair,
Forgets sometimes, and he whistles low
For the dog that is not there;
And the little dog-angel cocks his ears
And dreams that his Master's call he hears.
And I know when at length his Master waits
Outside in the dark and cold
For the hand of Death to open the gates
That lead to the Courts of Gold,
The little dog-angel's eager bark
Will comfort his soul while he's still in the dark.

I just wanted to let you know that I made it home. The journey wasn't an easy one, but it didn't take too long.
Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh and new
I wish that you could close your eyes and that you could see it too.
Please try not to be sad for me.
Try to understand
God is taking care of me...I'm in the shelter of His hands.
Here there is no sadness, no sorrow, and no pain. Here there is no crying and I'll never hurt again. Here it is so peaceful when all the angels sing.
I really have to go for now... I've just got to try my wings.

•♥• My Forever Pet •♥•
There's something missing in my home
I feel it day and night,
I know it will take time and strength
Before things feel quite right.
But just for now, I need to mourn
My heart -- it needs to mend,
Though some may say, "It's just a pet"
I know I've lost a friend.
You've brought such laughter to my home
And richness to my days,
A constant friend through joy or loss
With gentle, loving ways.
Companion, friend, and confidante
A friend I won't forget,
You'll live forever in my heart
My sweet, forever pet.

•♥• It Wouldn't Be Heaven •♥•
I got to the gate of Heaven today, after we said goodbye,
I began to miss you terribly, because I heard you cry.
Suddenly there was an Angel, and she asked me to enter Heaven's gate,
I asked her if I could stay outside for someone who would be late.
I wouldn't make much noise, you see, I wouldn't bark or howl,
I'll only wait here patiently and play with my tennis ball.
The angel said I could stay right here and wait for you to come,
Because Heaven just wouldn't be Heaven if I went in alone.
So I'll wait right here, you take your time, but keep me in your heart,
Because Heaven just wouldn't be Heaven without you to warm my heart.

Home At Last
The trees were blowing in the gentle breeze
The sun was shining thru the leaves on the trees,
The meadows are green and the grass grows tall
Off in the distance you can see a waterfall.
Over the falls; down through the creek
The water flows gently as a rabbit sneaks a peek,
Far up above in the deep blue sky
The birds soar high as they fly by.
The animals play
At the bridge by the waterfall chasing each other
and just having a ball
They play all day from morning to night
There's no more rain; just warm sunlight.
Off in the distance, the trumpets would blow
All would look up and notice a bright glow,
The harps would play and the angels would sing
As another pet has come home, who had earned their wings.

For Bella and her mum xx
I see a familiar shadow,
Moving by my chair,
I reach down my friend to touch you,
But you're no longer there.
I suddenly remember,
You had to go away,
It broke my heart to lose you,
But I knew you couldn't stay.
Yet I look into the garden,
I'm sure that I can see,
You running chasing butterflies,
The way you used to be.
I'm sure I heard you barking,
It wasn't a mistake,
I strain to hear it once again,
For any sound you make.
When I walk down country lanes,
I know that you're there too,
You're chasing through the bracken,
The way you used to do.
The rustling of the undergrowth,
That only I can hear,
I know it's just to let me know,
That you are still here.
I feel you by my bed at night,
Your warm breath on my cheek,
But I know that you will disappear,
If I try to take a peek.
So I just lie here quietly,
And I am content to know,
That in spirit, you've come back to me,
And that you'll never go.
♥ Wise Men Say ♥

Wise men talk of worlds beyond
Worlds beyond our eyes,
A wondrous place of love and peace
To which the spirit flies.
Wise men say we come again
To live another span,
That death is just a stepping stone
A pause within the plan.
Mystics say that many lives
Are needed to ensure,
A perfect understanding
Of God's eternal law.
Wise men say with smiling eyes
Our lives are but a dream,
A brief illusion clothed in flesh
A role within a scheme.
Wise men say that nothing dies
It only changes form,
That life goes on despite the myth
We perish in death's storm.
So when our loved ones pass away
Let hope replace our pain,
Have faith and trust that God ensures
We shall all meet again.

Love from Bella. xxx
~Your Pets In Heaven~
To have loved and then said farewell, is better than to have never loved at all.
For all of the times that you have stooped and touched my head, fed me my favorite treat and returned the love that I so unconditionally gave to you.
For the care that you gave to me so unselfishly.
For all of these things I am grateful and thankful.
I ask that you not grieve for the loss, but rejoice in the fact that we lived, loved and touched each others lives. My life was fuller because you were there, not as a master/owner, but as my FRIEND.
Today I am as I was in my youth. The grass is always green, butterflies flit among the flowers and the Sun shines gently down upon all of God's creatures.
I can run, jump, play and do all of the things that I did in my youth. There is no sickness, no aching joints and no regrets and no aging.
We await the arrival of our lifelong companions and know that togetherness is forever.
You live in our hearts as we do in yours. Companions such as you are so rare and unique.
Don't hold the love that you have within yourself. Give it to another like me and then I will live forever. For love never really dies, and you are loved and missed as surely as we are.
